The 2016 Grenache Colson Canyon Vineyard is a beauty that’s reminiscent of a top flight Cotes du Rhone from the Southern Rhone Valley. Framboise, toasted spices, jammy strawberries and dried flower notes all flow to a supple, medium-bodied, sweetly fruited beauty that’s going to drink nicely right out of the gate.

The 2016 Grenache is one of the most expressive wines in the range. Pliant and textured, this deceptively midweight Grenache offers plenty of depth and understated power. It is without question more complete and satisfying than the 2015 tasted alongside.
The 2016 Grenache Colson Canyon reveals notes of raspberries, spice and Provençal herbs. On the palate, it's rich and full-bodied with a sweet, juicy core of fruit and light structuring tannins. This is an attractive, fruit-driven Grenache to enjoy over the next handful of years.
